Comrades and SA marathon record holder Gerda Steyn and multiple SA mountain bike champion Candice Lill are just weeks away from racing in green and gold at the biggest sporting event on the planet.

They are both in their prime and currently in high altitude training camps before flying to Japan for a battle with the world's best.
